The Holiday Project

Since the late 1960s, the DHS Holiday Project has provided holiday gifts to eligible children and youth who receive services through the Department of Human Services. Thanks to the generosity of county residents—including employees of corporations, school groups, faith-based organizations and individuals—tens of thousands of holiday mornings have been brightened.

Although it’s been around since the 60’s, the Holiday Project didn’t have any branding attached to it until around 2010. Over the years it’s identity has evolved to what it is today. With a focus on being inclusive of all holidays, the branding needed to stay festive, yet broad. The logo concept focuses on ribbon and the palette stays neutral, yet bright and cheery. Custom illustrations are used on flyers, posters and all print material that decorates the local Workshop.
