Allegheny County Discounted Fares Pilot Program
In late 2022, Allegheny County Department of Human Services rolled out a pilot program to understand the impact of transportation affordability on lower-income residents. With the knowledge that the cost of transportation can pose a barrier to accessing jobs, social services and other life necessities, we explored new strategies to help connect people with services and opportunities that will benefit themselves, their families and their communities.
The Pilot included brand development, community outreach and public engagement strategies, web design and development for desktop and mobile, and a social media strategy. The brand represents how we wanted people to feel about this new opportunity; hopeful, helpful, stress-relieving and a connection to resources.
